Mandy would phone me on a total whim and we would talk for hours. Laughing and joking about pretty much anything. Such a great sense of humour she had and a very giving heart. Im going to miss those phone calls. Sorry for your loss Tim and family. Very glad that I got to know her.

Kaylas Grandma and Nicks adopted grandma . I met Mandy only once at Kaylas and Nicks graduation in Oyen but since knowing Nick I knew he had to have a special mom . My heart goes out to all that she has left behind . May the blessings that she has left in your hearts continue to shine bright for you , and With every day that you go out into the world , live as well as you can . This will become a tribute to her and the happiness she wanted for you all !

I met Mandy at a car accident scene near Oyen....it was during this time we discovered a couple of things: a) our kids were dating...and still are...b) we both are February girls c) our love of motorcycles - among many other things! We developed a friendship that whether we were talking or not - it would pick right where we left off. Mandy and I made up our own MIL club - mom in laws and spent lots of time in the past few months talking about our kids, futures... we discussed looking out for each other's kids etc if anything were to happen. The last conversation we had, was filled with laughter, giggling over the Harley stuff I had found and sent you...the sand that got taken away at customs bringing you a piece of Mexico...
You taught me many things - but the one that stands the most is don't let what someone thinks about you, stand in the way of doing what you love and to be happy - never give up. You got your wings, my friend.

Mandy my beautiful friend I met you in Alsask and became instant friends! You were my closest friend there and enjoyed my time hanging out with you . You were an amazing friend and I'll never forget. I'm sorry we drifted apart for a long time till I moved back to medicine hat, you and Tim came to the hat and you introduced me to him. The picture of us hugging I will always cherish that pic. I loved having our phone conversations and seeing you one more time last year and seeing Nick as well. You were so proud of all your kids and grandkids. I'm soo gonna miss our phone calls . I love you Mandy and gonna miss you soo much

I am deeply saddened to hear of Mandy's passing. I met Mandy while working as the Postmistress in Alsask, SK. She and I had several interesting chats and I could tell she loved life and she really did want to make a difference in the world. A woman with a good heart and she has been taken far too soon. Dell and I send our deepest sympathies to her husband Tim, to her children, extended family and her dear friends.

She was someone who you will never forget and will always be better for knowing. My heart goes out to all her beloved family and friends.
