Condolences to you Brian, your sons and relatives! I went to SAA with Donna. She was one of the happiest , fun loving persons I have ever met! Janet also went to SAA and her and Donna were in same grade and great friends ! They met as often as "allowed" in the smoking room and were best friends that year ! She played the guitar so well and everyone sang along!! so much fun!! We were both saddened to hear of her passing although I know she would have been ready! Our hearts go out to all of you! I have written for Janet Meyer Andreas (Lancer SK) because she had an brain aneurism and a stoke through surgery 30 years ago and has been unable to talk since but when I mention Donna she gets this huge smile on her face and she remembers Donna !! Many good memories of Jane and I accompanying Darrell and Denise to the farm to hunt geese, antelope, deer and of course “upland”. Donna and Brian were so welcoming for so many years even after Donna was physically restricted with MS. She was always the last one to want to quit playing cards in the wee hours and not always because she was winning! My thoughts and prayers go out to you Brian and boys. May Donna rest peacefully in the arms of the Lord.

So many fun memories of Donna at the "convent", St. Angela's Academy in Prelate. Most of us had nicknames back then - we just called her "Kopp". We'd play volleyball, 4 of us on one side of the net and Donna on the other - she was that good! She loved to play the guitar and have sing-songs. She was part of a folk group at St. Bernadette's in Calgary back in the day. So many good memories of Donna and Brian in Empress - thinking of you Brian..... Donna Hertz Tohm

We extend our sincere condolences to Brian, Darren, Wes and families. We spent many good times together with Donna and Brian while they were our next door neighbours on the farm. Lots of laughs and many card games during those years. Donna kept smiling through her struggle with MS with her loving Brian always by her side. She will be dearly missed.
