Esther always had a smile and gentle demeanour. She drove my school bus, she lent me a fancy dress when I ran as Carnival Queen contestant, she encouraged my piano skills, and my rather sorry attempts at softball. I wIll always picture her as catcher in our Sibbald Womens Softball Team. Esther made our world a better place.

This is a beautiful message about our Mom. We agree that she made the world a better place and we are all better that we were able to share it with her. So many people referred to her as catcher for Sibbald ball team. I always wondered how she ever caught Barb's pitches cause I sure as heck could not hit those balls. We will miss her always. Our sincerest sympathy. Your Mom will always be remembered for her smile, her sense of humor, her love of her community & her love of ball. She was one of our best fans, when we were on the ball field..,.as was your Dad. It was a very sad time for us, when you all left Marengo. Your Mom will be so greatly missed, but may it bring you comfort knowing they are together again in their forever home!
