Some of the best lessons in life I learnt from Laddy. He had a tremendous impact on me while growing up. He will always be remembered with a smile.

Things I learned from Uncle Laddy - Riverside Pizza with cold Coca Cola, CB radios, Motorcycle rides with music on built-in speakers, automobile engines, fishing in the St Lawrence channel, out houses, facts about Edmonton and Alberta, pocket knives, electric guitars, S.D.& G. Highlanders Regiment, Chez 106 in a purple AMC Gremlin, roofing and trusses in the summer heat, motorcycle engine parts in the bath tub, driving lessons at the dump in his "Monster Truck", water skiing behind his green "Grenouille" speed boat, "roll your own" cigarette machine and tobacco cans, impromptu jam sessions and how to start a fire by rubbing 2 sticks together (but one of the sticks should a matchstick). Also lending me his pick up truck to move into my new apartment the same weekend his mother passed away.
He was a different kind of person that not most people would agree with but would always be there to help you or anyone, rain or shine - free of charge and with free advice. He'd give you the shirt off his back but most of the time he wasn't wearing a shirt so....
R.I.P. Uncle Laddy
