Thanks Grace for your kind and happy memories of your Valley times. Yes, Dorothy loved the animals and her interaction with people at the curling rink. I’m glad you two shared those moments. Sincerely, sister Marion

Thanks Velma for your kind words. Her last days were with the staff at ltc and they all loved her as much as she loved them. She had a great sense of humour. I remember your Aunt Louise living down the hall from her at the lodge. Nice we have good memories.

My Sympathy to all the Swanston families. I can recall Dorothy telling me about different things about the kids when we were out curling. Dorothy took a couple of trips to the Hat with me to see a horse show which she really liked. I also recall the Halloween night she was with me when we chased down egg throwers and toured some of the farms that were being tricked. We had so many laughs, oh the memories. Dorothy, Rest in Peace.

Hugs to all the family. Dorothy and Bob were such pets when they ran the restaurant, loved the grilled ham and cheese and the stories that went with it at lunch time. Dorothy lived down the hall from Aunt Louise and always had a visit and a smile. She was one of our happy regular ice cream clients at the Extended Care, so happy to see us come. Rest In Peace Dorothy. ❤️
