Stan, Shelley and family. My heart is breaking for all of you. Fraser was the light in a room. He always had a smile and it didn’t matter who you were, your age he was always so kind and said hi and made you feel like you were important. I haven’t seen Fraser for a long time but will think of him often. I’m so sorry for your loss. HUGS

Fraser, my heart is broken. You were one of the most genuine and generous people I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. Though it’s been years since we spoke, I can’t believe you’re gone and we’ll never have the chance to reminisce together. Or enjoy a big, beautiful Fraser style hug. I wish I reached out sooner, just to see how you were. Thank you for coming into my life when you did. You were undoubtedly one of my biggest influences, a shining light in a time when I was directionless. Since learning of your passing, I can’t help but go over all the amazing adventures we shared. We only met because you happened to pick up a hitchhiker on your way to Shamb. You said the moment I tried on your funky blue sunglasses, you knew we would be friends. My god did we have fun together. When I came back from my trip across the states, I went straight to you in Lloyd. We drove across three provinces together. I’ll never forget the wonder in your eyes when you saw the Pacific Ocean in Tofino. Or how in awe you were of the mighty Fraser River, which I will never cross again without remembering your smile. Being buried in a mountain of puppies with you will always be one of my fondest memories. Thank you for introducing me to our favourite unicorn. Thank you for inspiring and challenging me all those years ago. I’ll miss your raspy voice and loving spirit. I’ll think of you every time I drink an iced tea. I’ll keep living and try to be the person you once thought I was. Rest easy, button. If love could have saved you, you would have lived forever.

Fraser was friends and worked rigs with my son, Scott, and some of his cousins. Fraser did a wonderful speech at my son’s Celebration of Life which is recorded on YouTube. Fraser reminds me so much of my son. We feel Fraser’s loss deeply. My deepest condolences.
